We started off by visiting the location and doing a photo shoot of the grounds, people, and pets. A good website begins with quality content that will help tell a story and build interest. Then we worked with ARF to develop a friendly color palette and typography options to complement the brand.
Once these were complete, it was time to bust out some designs to choose from. We did about 3 design options and ARF chose the one they thought best described their mission and vision. The site was constructed in WordPress – integrating an existing ‘pet finder’ app – and launched in under a month.
ARF has continued to use the same design we built for them for the past 7 years and it seems to be doing the job.
